ALTAThe WebLaw Gateway Project - A Project-in-Progress Paper presented to the ALTA Conference, July 2001 Specials PaperWEBLAW : A SUBJECT GATEWAY TO AUSTRALIAN LEGAL RESOURCES This paper was presented at "Rivers of Knowledge", the 9th Special, Health and Law Libraries Conference held in Melbourne in August 2001. The paper provides an overview of the WebLaw project, including the objectives of WebLaw, target audiences, types of resources covered, selection criteria and quality guidelines. The development of WebLaw, how it currently operates and future directions are discussed. The paper also covers lessons learned about cooperation as a result of the WebLaw project.
